MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) Training – Less stress and more wellness in life
“Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction” (MBSR) is a structured 8-week training developed by the man who introduced the concept of Mindfulness to the world: Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn. This programme is primarily used to help people who experience stress-related problems.
MBSR has been documented to have positive effects in coping with:
- Mood swings
- Disease management
- Chronic pain
- Life changes
- Losses and many more
The program is widely used at many institutions in the United States, as well as many other places around the world. People who benefit from this programme range from individuals suffering from mental or physical stress to business people, people working in the health sector and just anyone who value well-being and wants to live a more balanced and harmonious life.
This allows the MBSR program to contribute to:
- Greater satisfaction and gratitude
- More peace, energy and joy in life
Research has also shown that Mindfulness creates positive changes in the areas of the brain that deal with concentration, creativity, joy and stress.
